Kendrick Lamar feat. Dr. Dre - The Recipe

Falei de Trap Music, que é algo que eu ando curtindo ultimamente, agora esse novo single do Kendrick Lamar vem num bom momento para eu apresentar o rapper que fez o melhor album do ano passado na minha humilde opinião, o Section.80.
Ele é de Compton, na California, terra daonde também vieram rappers como o próprio Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, The Game, Eazy-E e outros gangsta rappers, mas diferente desses que tiveram afiliação com os Bloods ou Crips da região, o Kendrick não se afiliou a nenhuma dessas gangues, o que permitiu que ele visse essa guerra civil que acontece na região de L.A. de um angulo diferente dos já retratados por aqueles artistas. Enfim, o simples fato do Dr. Dre ter recentemente assinado o Kendrick com a sua gravadora, a Aftermath (mesma que descobriu o Eminem e 50 Cent) e a própria musica do K-Dot falam por si só. Esse som foi produzido pelo Scoop DeVille, que produziu musicas como "I Wanna Rock" do Snoop Dogg e você pode ouvi-lo abaixo.

I talked about Trap Music on the first post, which is something I've been digging a lot lately, but this new single by Kendrick Lamar comes in time so I can speak about the rapper that, in my humble opinion, did last year's best rap album, Section.80.
He is from Compton, California the land from which some of the most famous West Coast rappers, like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, The Game and Eazy-E, came from. This city is well known for the it's gang activities, but unlike the rappers I mencioned earlier, Kendrick didn't affiliated with neither the Bloods or the Crips. This fact let's Kendrick speak about the civil war going on the LA area from a whole different perspective than most rappers from Compton ever spoke, although his lyrics aren't restricted only to this subject. The simple fact that Dr. Dre gave him his cosign and signed him to Aftermath (the label that discovered both Eminem and 50 Cent) and his music should speak from himself.
