Oldies: Puff Daddy feat. The Lox, Lil Kim & The Notorious B.I.G. - It's All About The Benjamins (Remix)

 

Saindo de uma oldies muito triste para uma mais normal, só pra relembrar um som foda do passado, vim postar essa sonzeira das antigas. Esse som é da época que o Puff Daddy e a Bad Boy dominavam as paradas americanas, a mesma época em que infelizmente o Biggie faleceu. Nesse som, todo mundo que decide rimar destroi, desde a galera do The Lox (Jadakiss, Styles P e Sheek Louch ainda novos) até o Puff Daddy (que obviamente deixou pro Biggie escrever o verso dele), mas o destaque mesmo vai pro Biggie, que simplesmente trucida o final da música com um dos melhores versos da carreira dele. Pra quem não conhece vale a pena clicar aí pra ouvir.

Oldies: Mase feat. Puff Daddy - Lookin' At Me

O Mase é um desses rappers que fez época mas acabou meio esquecido pela história depois de um tempo. No auge da Bad Boy, a lendária gravadora do Puff Daddy da qual o Notorious B.I.G. fazia parte, o Mase era uma das suas principais estrelas, atrás apenas do próprio Biggie. O cara personificava uma vibe do Harlem que outros caras de lá como o Cam'ron e o A$AP Rocky continuaram levando à frente. Além disso tudo ele tinha umas produções bem fodas e à frente do seu tempo no album dele, tanto que Lookin' At Me foi a primeira produção dos Neptunes a fazer sucesso, pra ver como o cara tava à frente. do tempo dele. Depois ele virou pastor, teve uma treta com o Cam'ron e por isso ficou meio esquecido na história, mas não muda o fato que ele teve uns sons bem fodas na época. Clica aí pra ver o que eu to falando.

Oldies: The Notorious B.I.G. feat. Puff Daddy & Ma$e - Mo Money Mo Problems

O som acima é outro foda demais do Biggie, dessa vez com a galera dele da Bad Boy. Esse som faz parte do seu segundo album, o Life After Death, que foi lançado logo após a sua morte. O album é foda e nesse som é legal que todo mundo soa estar curtindo pra caralho, uma vibe massa pro Biggie e Puff. Tanto os versos do Puff quanto do Ma$e são da hora e eu curto e tal mas são só aquecimento pra quando o Biggie chega patrolando com o verso dele, mostrando como se faz. O bicho é foda mesmo e vale a pena clicar aí pra ver qual é a desse som.

Puff Daddy feat. Rick Ross & French Montana - Big Homie

O Diddy mais uma vez mudou de nome, mas dessa vez pelo menos foi pro clássico Puff Daddy que ele usava nas antigas. Mas não é por isso que eu to postando o cara aqui, e sim por esse som e esse video. O Puff Daddy sempre teve a manha de aparecer nos videos e roubar a cena com o estilo bem dele e tal, sempre flossing com carrões (nesse clipe com um Rolls-Royce Ghost e um Maybach 62). Nesse clipe no entanto ele chama os contatos como se não fosse nada. Além dos 3 rappers que rimam nessa musica tu pode ver ninguém mais ninguém menos que o 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, A$AP Ferg, Wale, Vado, A$AP Nast, Jermaine Dupri e provavelmente uns outros que eu não vi. Mas enfim, o resultado é um daqueles clipes clássicos de rap, que nao inova em nada mas manda super bem no essencial. Pra ver é só clicar acima.

Future feat. Diddy & Ludacris - Same Damn Time (Remix)

 Esse som já é foda, tanto pela batida do Sonny Digital quanto pelo refrão do próprio Future, mas ele ter chamado o rei dos remixes, Diddy, pra lançar um verso no remix oficial dele foi genial xD. E o Diddy representou com um "shit talking" bem foda, típico do auge do Diddy. Pra ver o clipe oficial do som e só clicar acima.

This song is already dope all by itself, because of both Sonny Digital's beat and Future's hook for the song, but they calling out Diddy, the king of the remixes, to do the official one for this song was the stroke of a genius. Então, a Complex é uma revista americana da qual eu já falei aqui e tal, e eles vivem fazendo listas de diversas coisas, algumas inclusive relacionadas ao rap. Algumas delas eu discordo e tal, mas essa dos melhores versos de convidados da primeira metade de 2012 eu achei bem interessante.
