Oldies: Teedra Moses feat. Jadakiss - You'll Never Find (a Better Woman)

 

Eu não sei vocês, mas o R&B do início dos anos 2000 é algo que me pega muito, talvez por ter sido a minha época formativa, ou talvez porque a sonoridade de gente como a Aaliyah, Kelis, Ciara, Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige e outras dessa época eram realmente muito foda. Enfim, a Teedra Moses é bem menos conhecidas que essas que eu falei mas ela tem uns sons muito fodas então eu decidi postar esse som, que conta também com um verso muito foda do Jadakiss, pra relembrar a época, clica aí pra ouvir que vale a pena.

Bangladesh feat. Pusha T & Jadakiss - 100

Não é novidade que o Bangladesh produz uns bangers fudidos. Antes mesmo do Lex Luger virar o cara a ser copiado o Bangladesh já fazia mt sucesso produzido uns sons bem pesados. Nada como juntar dois rappers de rua com rimas quentes pra se juntar a essa tentativa do Bangladesh de lançar uma carreira própria. O Pusha e o Jada mandam muito bom nesse som, o triste é ter que ver o Bangladesh pagando de versão masculina da Nicki Minaj... Ridiculo e completamente dispensável, mas o resto do som é foda.

Well, it ain't new that Bangladesh knows how to produce some bangers. Before Lex Luger's template dominated the scene, Bangladesh already did a lot of success doin't some heavy shit for big artists. Nothing like getting two of the best street rappers out there to try to boost your first solo effort. Pusha and Jada do their thing, as always, but what kills the song is seeing Bangladesh trying to impersonate the male version of Nicki Minaj. Simply ridiculous and the song would be even bigger without it, but click above to check the song and video anyway cause the rest of it is dope.

Fat Joe feat. Kanye West, Miguel, Jadakiss, Mos Def, DJ Khaled, Roscoe Dash & Busta Rhymes - Pride N Joy

Meio ridiculo eu postar essa musica de novo, sendo que é basicamente a mesma, só que sem as tags do Funkmaster Flex. Você deve estar se perguntando, tá, mas e qual é a da feature dessa raça inteira então? Enfim, eles estão fazendo um coro no começo, no refrão e no final da musica, por isso que eu não conseguia localizar o Miguel antes e você provavelmente não vai conseguir diferenciar a voz de nenhum deles (menos, talvez, a do Jadakiss xD), mas tá todo mundo ali... Mas verso mesmo, só do Joey Crack e do Kanye, e a produção na real é do Bink. Pra ouvir o som, clique abaixo.

Kinda ridicule for me to post this whole song again, if it is basically the same as the other one, only without the Funkmaster Flex tags. You must be wondering, what's up with all those names on the feature then? Well, they are all doing a choir on the intro, hook and outro of the song, that's why I couldn't find Miguel in the other version, and you probably won't be able to find each voice on the choir (maybe Jada x), but everyone's there... The verses are the same though, only by Joey Crack and Kanye, and the beat was actually done by Bink. Click below to check it.

Chief Keef feat. Pusha T, Kanye West, Big Sean & Jadakiss - I Don't Like (Remix)

Então, o negro nessa foto acima é o Chief Keef. Ele é de Chicago, tem 16 anos, uma musica com o Kanye West e um contrato com o Birdman e a Cash Money... Ah, além disso ele tá em prisão domiciliar na casa da sua avó por trocar uns tiros com a polícia a uns meses atrás... Digamos que ele anda com uma vida relativamente movimentada... Enfim, não é novidade que o Kanye anda curtindo um som mais de rua e mais pesado ultimamente, então nada mais natural que ele colaborar com um dos ultimos rappers da sua cidade a estourar... Pusha T e Jadakiss, assim como o Keef, tem credibilidade o suficiente nas ruas pra fazer esse remix funcionar (o Big Sean eu realmente não sei porque foi incluido no remix). Apesar desse time de all-stars, a colaboração parece melhor no papel que na prática. Nenhum deles parece particularmente inspirado na musica, o que não faz dela ruim, mas também não é das melhores. A batida original é, pelo menos originalmente, do asiático na foto, o Young Chop, mas o Kanye como sempre deu umas modificadas nela. Enfim, pra ouvir o som é só clicar abaixo.

The black guy on this picture is Chief Keef. He is from Chicago, is 16 years old, has a song with Kanye West and a contract with Birdman and Cash Money... Beside that he is on house arrest on his grandma's house for trading shots with the cops a few months ago... Quite a busy life for a 16 year old... Well, there ain't no news on Kanye collaborating with more street oriented rappers, lately he's been into a little heavier sound, so it's natural for him to do a collabo with the latest street rapper to breed on his hometown. Pusha T and Jadakiss, like Keef, have the street cred to make the remix work (not really sure why Big Sean was included in this lineup though). Even though this all-star remix sounds good on paper, unfortunately it's not as good on real life. Even though the song is nice, neither of them sound really inspired to make the whole thing work out like it should. The original beat was done by the asian guy on the photo, Young Chop, but Kanye, as always, tuned the beat a little bit to fit his taste better. You can click below to check it for yourself.

Jadakiss feat. A$AP Rocky & Swizz Beatz - Street Knock Raspy

Entãaao, depois de um bom tempo sem lançar um projeto, o Jadakiss lançou essa semana a mixtape Consignment. Essa musica foi, de longe, a que eu mais me interessei do projeto. Sinceramente o próprio Jada parece meio constrangido na musica, mas a batida do AraabMuzik com a sample do Biggie e o verso do A$AP Rocky com o Swizz Beatz de hypemen dele é bom demais pra eu deixar passar. So, it's been a while Jadakiss didn't released a new project, and this week he released the mixtape Consignment. This song is, by far, the most interesting one on it. To be sincere, Jada seems kinda off-tune with the rest of the song, but the beat by AraabMuzik with the sample by Biggie and the verse by A$AP Rocky with Swizzy as the hypemen are too good for me to let it passa.
