Billboard Fridays: Pitbull & Ne-Yo - Time Of Our Lives

É galera, infelizmente não rolou de postar isso aqui na sexta como de costume por causa da precariedade da internet na praia aonde fiquei, mas tá aqui o post da semana passada. O Big Sean continua na liderança mas o primeiro destaque de 2015 vai pro Pitbull e Ne-Yo. Vários dos hits que o Pitbull fez no ano passado foram produzidos pelo Dr. Luke e Cirkut e esse não é diferente, apesar de ter produção adicional também do Lifted. O som até que soa bem pra um som do Pitbull mas não chega a ser bom e o video é a mesma coisa. Tá longe de ser original mas é relativamente divertido. Pra ver a parada, clique acima.

Unfortunatelly I wasn't able to make the post on Friday because of the lame internet connection I had on my beach house. Still, better late than ever, so here is the post from last friday. Big Sean is still on the lead but the first highlight from 2015 goes out to Pitbull and Ne-Yo. Like most of the hits he had on 2014, this song was produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, and this one ain't different, it only has some additional production from Lifted. It's slightly better than most Pitbull hits and the video too, but it's not what you would call good or original. Still, if you wanna check it, click above.

Billboard Thursdays: Young Jeezy feat. Ne-Yo - Leave You Alone

Mais uma semana o Drake se mantém na primeira posição com The Motto, mas o destaque da semana vai pra musica numero 4, Leave You Alone, do Young Jeezy. Essa balada que o rapper de Atlanta fez com o Ne-Yo faz parte do album que ele lançou no final do ano passado, o Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition. O som foi produzido pelo Warren G, produtor de L.A. da época da Death Row, conhecido pelo seu trabalho com o Nate Dogg. O som é bem mais leve do que o que nós geralmente ouvimos do Jeezy, dá pra ver que foi a musica pras mulheres que os executivos da Def Jam aprovaram como single. There goes another week and Drake still stands on the top of the chart with The Motto. This week's highlight is for the number 4 on the list, Leave You Alone, by Young Jeezy. This ballad that the Atlanta rapper has done with Ne-Yo is part of the album he released on December of 2011 called Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition. The song was produced by Warren G, a Death Row era producer from L.A., known mainly for his work with Nate Dogg. This song is way lighter than most things we've heard by Jeezy, and you can see it's the "ladies song" from the album that the Def Jam executives decided to push as a single.
