Ed Sheeran feat. Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock - Cross Me

Apesar do Ed Sheeran ter feito músicas populares com alguns rappers (como o Eminem e o Hoodie Allen) ele não é bem o cara que chama que chama atenção quando tu quer ouvir um rap. Já o Chance the Rapper é bem o inverso, por isso que esse som aparece aqui. O som é popzinho e tal mas eu curto bastante o Chance e ele mandou um verso da hora nesse som, então clica aí pra ver qual é.

Billboard Fridays: Eminem feat. Ed Sheeran - River

Post Malone vai virar o ano na liderança da parada de rap da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai pra um som novo do Eminem. River faz parte do album que ele lançou a pouco tempo, o fraquinho Revival. O som conta com produção do Emile Haynie e participação do Ed Sheeran, ou seja, dois nomes que vendem muito, então faz todo sentido que o som vá estourar. O som infelizmente não é muito legal. Soa muito como os sons do Ed Sheeran, então quem é fã deve curtir, eu como não sou não curti muito. Eminem particularmente não brilha muito nesse som. Ele não tem vídeo ainda mas clicando acima vocês podem ouvir a música.
Update: Saiu o vídeo de River. É um vídeo bem legal, que dá uma dimensão a mais na música. Ele é um conto bem literal da música e é muito bem filmado, exatamente como se fosse um curta-metragem. Vale a pena clicar acima e ver qual é a desse som.

Billboard Fridays: Hoodie Allen feat. Ed Sheeran - All About It

O Big Sean continua na liderança da Hot Rap Chart da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai para o Hoodie Allen. Eu nunca tinha ouvido o cara até ouvir esse som que apareceu aqui nas paradas, mas já tinha ouvido umas comparações dele com o G-Eazy. Dá pra entender o porque da comparação já que ambos são brancos e tal, mas eles soam, na minha opinião, bem diferentes um do outro. Nesse som ele colaborou com o Ed Sheeran, o ruivo que andou estourando ano passado com colaborações com o Pharrell e tal.s Eles até que soam bem parecidos se não fosse pelo sotaque britânico que o Ed tem e o Hoodie não. A música foi produzida pelo RJF e Parrish Washington e eu achei um som bem divertidinho, assim como o clipe. Pra vê-lo, clique acima.

Big Sean is still on the lead on Billboard's Hot Rap Chart but this week's highlight goes to Hoodie Allen. I had never heard of him before I heard this song, but I read some comparations made between him and G-Eazy. I get it why they were done, since they're both white rappers with a similar fanbase but I don't think they sound much alike. This song he did with british singer Ed Sheeran, which achieved some fame last year doing songs with Pharrell, and that's a guy who sounds quite like Hoodie, only Ed has a very characteristic british accent. The song was produced by RJF and Parrish Washington and I found it quite nice, same goes for the video. If you wanna check it, click above.

Billboard Fridays: Lupe Fiasco feat. Ed Sheeran - Old School Love

 E o Eminem finalmente é desbancado, o negócio é que quem o desbancou é o "rapper" Pitbull com a musica Timber. Enfim, o destaque da semana vai pra um rapper de verdade, super talentoso mas que infelizmente anda fazendo umas musicas horríveis. Old School Love é o primeiro single do seu próprio album que deve se chamar Tetsuo & Youth. O Lupe fez um dos melhores albuns de rap que eu já ouvi nas antigas, o The Cool, mas ultimamente parece que ele só faz essas merdas de musicas de auto ajuda e romanticazinha, o que é um puta desperdicio de talento (ou se pah ele já não tem todo aquele talento). Fato é que essa musica deveria era ser uma do Ed Sheeran, que canta bem e tal mas definitivamente não tem nada a ver com rap, mas sim com pop. O video também é uma bosta, clichê pra caralho com o Lupe reclamando da violencia em Chicago. Enfim, isso tudo foi produzido pelo DJ Frank E e se vocês quiserem ouvir é só clicar acima. Eminem finally leaves the throne of Billboard's Rap Charts and passes it to Pitbull, which is barelly a rapper but whatever. This week's highlight is a true rapper even though he is really fucking it up latelly. Old School Love is the first single from his next album that should be called Tetsuo & Youth. Lupe did one of the best rap albuns I've heard when I was young, called The Cool, but nowadays all he seems to do is this fucked up romantic, self-help fucking songs, which is a waste of his talent (or maybe he just lost all of it). This should be an Ed Sheeran song, which sings quite well over it but it ain't got shit to do with a rap song, beside the fact that Lupe rhymes over it. The video is some real cliche shit with Lupe showing and complaining about the streets of Chicago. This mess was produced by DJ Frank E and you can check the song and this week's top 25 above.
