Fergie feat. Nicki Minaj - You Already Know

A Fergie faz umas músicas bem malzinhas, com ou sem o Black Eyed Peas. Apesar disso é inegável que as vezes ela acerta na veia e lança uns bangers fudido (como Fergalicious por exemplo). Pra mim o som acima é um desses casos, cheio de uns samples de rap das antigas, mas mesmo assim parecendo um som bem moderno. Ela até manda bem também nos versos mas a Nicki chega pra destruir nesse quesito. Vale a pena ouvir o som, eu curti bastante.

Billboard Fridays: Fergie - M.I.L.F.$

É galera,  mais uma semana o Desiigner aparece na liderança da parada de rap da Billboard, mas o destaque da semana vai pra Fergie. Esse som é a cópia descarada dela de Anaconda, desde a referência sexual explicita (M.I.L.F. significa Moms I'd Like to Fuck) até a batida do Polow Da Don, com ajuda do AnonXmous, que sampleia uns raps/bounce dos anos 90 bem explícitos, e o clipe cheio de corpos femininos quase nus. A diferença é que além de menos original a Fergie chamou minas famosas pro clipe (Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ciara, Gemma Ward, Devon Aoki e Isabelli Fontana foram só as que eu reconheci, mas tem mais). Além de não muito original o som também não é muito legal, mas um clipe com tanta gente famosa obviamente chamou bastante atenção portanto ela estreou já dentro do top 10. Another week with Desiigner at the top of the Billboard Hot Rap Chart but this week's highlight goes to Fergie. It's her obvious copy of Nicki Minaj's Anaconda, from the explicit theme (you know what M.I.L.F. means right?) to the beat by Polow Da Don (with the help from AnonXmous) that samples some real dirty early 90s bounce rap, down to the hot women almost naked on the video. The diference is that, even though the idea ain't original, Fergie called way more famous people to the video (Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ciara, Gemma Ward, Devon Aoki and Isabelli Fontana that I was able to recognize but there's more). Billboard Fridays: Fergie - L.A.LOVE (la la)

A Fergie continua na liderança do top 25 da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai pra Fergie. É, a Fergie, ela mesma do Black Eyed Peas. Ela está tentando voltar à relevância musical e para isso pegou uma batida com o DJ Mustard e fez esse som. A batida é o que você veio a esperar de uma do Mustard, então não é ruim, mas não é algo inovador também. Os versos da Fergie não brilham, mas também não atrapalham a música. No geral é uma musica muito pouco original, mas não chega a soar mal. Ela ainda não tem video, mas vocês podem ouvi-la clicando acima.
Update: Saiu o video da Fergie que agora conta também com a participação do YG. O video é cheio de product placement, como da Beats by Dre e da Chrysler, o que não é legal mas o Black Eyed Peas sempre fez, então whatever. Basicamente a Fergie mostra o corpinho dela e faz uma festa fudida com um monte de gente famosa de L.A., como o YG, DJ Mustard, Chelsea Handler, Sen Dog, entre outros... Enfim, poderia ser pior mas não é exatamente bom.

Fergie is still in the lead of this week's Hot Rap Chart but the highlight goes to Fergie. Yes, the same Fergie that sings on The Black Eyed Peas. She is trying to find some relevance in music again so she called DJ Mustard for a beat and now she has this song out. You already know what to expect from a DJ Mustard song, and this one ain't different, so it sounds good. Fergie's lyrics ain't good but it doesn't spoil the rest of the song either, so while it's not a very original song, it's not a bad song either.
