O Usher a umas semanas atrás foi o responsável pelo show do intervalo do SuperBowl, um dos eventos televisionados mais vistos dos EUA. Ele fez um baita de um show, lembrando pra galera a quantidade de hits que o cara tem na sua carreira de mais de 30 anos. Ele aproveitou e lançou também um novo album solo que vale demais ouvir. Esse som com a Summer Walker e o 21 Savage é um dos destaques do projeto, clica aí pra ver qual é.
Caraaaca, vocês lembram esse som? Não é bem de rap mas tem participações do Lil Jon e do Ludacris que dão toda uma vibe então acho justo postar aqui. Na minha adolescência esse som tocava em tudo quanto era lugar e até hoje ele é muito quente. Enfim, clica aí pra ouvir que vale a pena.

Porra, que sonzeira e que clipe massa. O Usher lançou esse som no qual ele usa vários duplos sentidos ao falar da gravadora No Limit e mandou um clipe atual, cheio de umas danças animadas pra caramba. A parada toda soa e parece bem divertida e o Young Thug no video só ajuda a parada a soar ainda mais épica. Fora os dois você vê ainda o Ty Dolla $ign, Gucci Mane e Boosie Badazz na parada. É galera, o Wiz Khalifa não larga mão do primeiro lugar de rap da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai dessa vez pro Wale. A música da semana é essa, produzida pelo Jake One, que faz parte do último album do rapper, o The Album About Nothing. Como o título da música já mostra, ela fala sobre casamento, então é uma dessas músicas bem romanticazinhas e tal que o Wale volta e meia lança e faz sucesso (assim como Lotus Flower Bomb, Bad, entre outras). O video, como era de se esperar, passa um casamento, o relacionamento do Wale com a guria e tal, mas tem um twist no final, que na real a mina vai se casar com um outro cara, não com o Wale, Seria bem de boa se ficasse aí, mas do nada o Wale decide colar bem no final do video no casamento da mina e ela, só de ver o Wale, apesar das tretas dos dois e do fato do Wale não falar uma palavra, ela decide abandonar o outro cara no altar. Wiz Khalifa is still at the top of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs, but this week's highlights goes to Wale. This song was produced by Jake One and it's part of the rapper's latest album, called The Album About Nothing. As you might guess from the title, it's a love song, in a reflective way, kinda like Wale has done many times before (as in Bad, Lotus Flower Bomb and others). The video, as you would expect, shows a wedding taking place, and in between some scenes there's the relationship between Wale and a girl. There's a twist at the end though, and the girl is actually marrying another man, not Wale. They could have ended it all there, but no, Wale decides to show up at the wedding and the bride, after having a glimpse of the guy, decides to leave his fiancee standing alone on the church. It's one of the worst videos I've ever seen, but you can check it all above.
Chegou mais uma semana e pelo jeito o Big Sean vai virar o ano na liderança do top 10 da Billboard com I Don't Fuck With You, mas o destaque dessa semana vai pro Kid Ink. Depois de fazer dois sons com participação do Chris Brown e produção do DJ Mustard ele decidiu dar uma leve mudada na fórmula, chamando dessa vez o Usher (que canta fino e dança e etc... vê a semelhança?) e produção dessa vez do Cashmere Cat e Stargate fazendo o melhor deles pra imitar uma batida do DJ Mustard. A Tinashe aparece também no som e apesar de ser talentosíssima, linda e cantar super bem ela mal aparece, dando só um toquezinho agradável a mais. Enfim, o clipe tem várias minas gostosas rebolando e twerking, como é de se esperar de um clipe de rap hoje em dia. A música não chega a ser ruim mas está longe de ser boa (culpa do próprio Kid Ink) e é muito clichê. Pra ver a parada, clique acima.

Another week comes along and it seems like Big Sean will start next year at the top of Billboard's Hot Rap Chart with I Don't Fuck With You. This week's highlight goes to Kid Ink though. After having some success with 2 songs featuring Chris Brown and produced by DJ Mustard he decided to change a bit the formula. This time the feature is done by Usher (famous singer that also dances pretty well, do you see the similarity?) and production by Cashmere Cat and Stargate doing their best DJ Mustard impression. Tinashe also appears on the song, and even though she is a great, innovative singer and one of the most beautiful singers out there she barely appears on the songs, doing just some ad libs and this kind of stuff, which is a shame. The video is full of hots girls almost naked, twerking and dancing as you would expect from a rap video nowadays. The whole package ain't exactly bad, but it's far from good (Kid Ink's fault) and it has many many cliches on it, but you can still check it above.
Então, esse som tá no ultimo album do Usher, o Looking 4 Myself. pra esse som ele trouxe o Pharrell pra fazer a batida e o A$AP Rocky pra meter um verso quente no final. Detalhe pra referência a um threesome que o A$AP Rocky faz no verso dele, que referencia tbm o verso da Nicki Minaj na ótima Lil Freak, do album anterior do Usher. Acho que devia virar uma tradição, daqui pra frente o rapper que o Usher chamar pra fazer aquela colabo quente, fazer uma referência dessas xD. Enfim, pra ouvir o som foda é só clicar abaixo.

The highlight goes to the threesome reference Rocky does on his verse, that's also a reference to the great verse Nicki Minaj did on Lil Freak, a single from Raymond v.
