Billboard Fridays: Wale feat. Usher - The Matrimony

É galera, o Wiz Khalifa não larga mão do primeiro lugar de rap da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai dessa vez pro Wale. A música da semana é essa, produzida pelo Jake One, que faz parte do último album do rapper, o The Album About Nothing. Como o título da música já mostra, ela fala sobre casamento, então é uma dessas músicas bem romanticazinhas e tal que o Wale volta e meia lança e faz sucesso (assim como Lotus Flower Bomb, Bad, entre outras). O video, como era de se esperar, passa um casamento, o relacionamento do Wale com a guria e tal, mas tem um twist no final, que na real a mina vai se casar com um outro cara, não com o Wale, Seria bem de boa se ficasse aí, mas do nada o Wale decide colar bem no final do video no casamento da mina e ela, só de ver o Wale, apesar das tretas dos dois e do fato do Wale não falar uma palavra, ela decide abandonar o outro cara no altar. Wiz Khalifa is still at the top of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs, but this week's highlights goes to Wale. This song was produced by Jake One and it's part of the rapper's latest album, called The Album About Nothing. As you might guess from the title, it's a love song, in a reflective way, kinda like Wale has done many times before (as in Bad, Lotus Flower Bomb and others). The video, as you would expect, shows a wedding taking place, and in between some scenes there's the relationship between Wale and a girl. There's a twist at the end though, and the girl is actually marrying another man, not Wale. They could have ended it all there, but no, Wale decides to show up at the wedding and the bride, after having a glimpse of the guy, decides to leave his fiancee standing alone on the church. It's one of the worst videos I've ever seen, but you can check it all above.
