Pitbull is still on the top spot of Billboard's Rap Charts but this week's highlight goes out to Kendrick Lamar, this time with m.A.A.d city. Yes, this song is a part of his seminal Good Kid, m.A.A.d City which was released all the way back in 2012 but the kid is so nice that he's still making hits out of that. One of the main reasons I think it came this high this week is because of his great performance at the Grammy. Still, I won't be the one complaining about a great song getting high no the Billboard Charts, even if it's an old one. This song was produced by
Sounwave,
THC and
Terrace Martin and it also has a feature by MC Eiht, the biggest rapper from Compton's Most Wanted. For those who ain't know, Compton's Most Wanted was one of the most important groups from the 90s Gangsta Rap fase. Well, this song is pretty hyped up and all but it's not the kind of song you would probably hear in the club for people to dance too. Still, both Kendrick and Eiht go about their business, rhyming as only they can. It ain't got a video yet but you can check it clicking above.
