Billboard Fridays: Macklemore feat. Skylar Grey - Glorious

 É galera, Cardi B continua firme e forte na liderança das paradas gerais e de rap mas o destaque da semana vai pro Macklemore. Glorious é o primeiro single do album novo dele, o Gemini, e ele tem uma vibe bem animadinha que a gente conhece do cara. Esse som particularmente soa muito como um Can't Hold Us um pouco piorado por ter a Skylar Grey ao invés do Ray Dalton no refrão. Produzido pelo Joshua Karp, esse é daqueles som que não fede nem cheira, não é foda pra caralho mas também não chega a ser algo insuportável de ouvir. O clipe no entanto é uma bosta. Ele finge que tá curtindo o aniversário de 100 anos da avó dele, comprando Yeezys pra ela, contratando um stripper, entre outras coisas, mas tudo parece muito forçado. Eu não curti mas vocês podem ver a parada clicando acima.

Temos uma musica nova no top 25 de rap da Billboard! O Big Sean ascendeu uma posição, colocou o Bobby Shmurda pra trás e agora I Don't Fuck With You tá na liderança da parada semanal. O destaque da semana no entanto vai pra Nicki Minaj. Ela estava numa sequencia foda ultimamente de singles, com Anaconda e Only, mas ela sempre abre mão de algum espaço no album dela pra algum single super pop, que é o caso de Bed Of Lies. Produzida por Alex Da Kid, Kane Beatz, TODAY, Breyan Isaac e JMIKE essa é uma daquelas músicas que, apesar de ter alguns versos da Nicki interpassados, é uma musica pop de fora a fora, com o destaque principal estando pra Skylar Grey cantando o refrão ao invés da própria Nicki. Eu não curti nenhum pouco e achei um desperdicio fazer esse tipo de musica, mas foda-se. Ela não tem video ainda, mas vocês podem ouvi-la cantando no AMA clicando acima.

We got a new song on the top of the charts for this week. Big Sean ascended and took the throne from Bobby Shmurda and now I Don't Fuck With You sits on the top of the charts. This week's highlight goes to Nicki Minaj though. She was on a pretty great sequence with Anaconda and Only, but she always leave some space on her albuns for the straight pop songs, and that's what Bed Of Lies is. It was produced by Alex Da Kid, Kane Beatz, TODAY, Breyan Isaac and JMIKE and even though it does have a few verses by Nicki on it, she ain't even on the spotlight, with most of it going to Skylar Grey. To me, it's a mistake and I didn't like it but you can still check it by clicking above.
