Quem conhece a estética sonora do som que o Curren$y faz provavelmente vai se agradar com o som do Fiend pois, enquanto o Curren$y usou como inspiração as samples de soul do rap de New York anos 90 na sua série Pilot Talk de albuns, essa mixtape do Fiend usa como inspiração muito do que o Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg e Warren G fizeram na mesma época na West Coast. Enfim, a mixtape é curta, com apenas 9 musicas, e tem participações do próprio Curren$y, Kurupt, Daz Dillinger e outros. For those who don't know, Fiend is a rapper from New Orleans which is a partner of Curren$y. For those who know Curren$y's sound aesthetic, Fiend didn't went too far from it with this mixtape, which is actually good. On Curren$y's Pilot Talk's series, his main inspiration was the sample chops from 90s New York raps, and in this mixtape, it sounds like Fiend was inspired by the sounds Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg and Warren G were doing by the same time on the West Coast. This mixtape is pretty short, with only 9 tracks and has features by Curren$y, Kurupt, Daz Dillinger and others. It's really well produced by Cookin Soul and you can check it below.
