Billboard Fridays: Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth - See You Again

É raça, o Fetty Wap continua liderando as paradas de rap da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai pro Wiz Khalifa. See You Again já tinha aparecido previamente na parada de rap só que em posições bem mais acima, mas por uma razão bem clara ela subiu váarias posições e foi parar no terceiro lugar nessa semana. A música produzida pelo Charlie Puth faz parte da trilha de Velozes e Furiosos 7 e vale como que uma homenagem póstuma à vida de Paul Walker, um dos principais atores da série que morreu no ano passado. Enfim, eu achei meio melosa e chata a música, mas depois de ver o filme e ela no contexto para a qual foi feita, não tem como negar que ela carrega uma carga emocional muito grande. Enfim, mas tendo dito isso, o Wiz é completamente inutil e substituivel nessa música. O astro mesmo da parada (mesmo sendo uma musica não muito do meu agrado) é indubidavelmente o Charlie Puth. Enfim, o video tem a vibe como o final do filme e conta ainda com vários carros da Dodge (que é quem deve ter pago pra fazer o filme). Enfim, pra ver é só clicar acima.

Fetty Wap is still on the top of Billboard's Hot Rap Charts but this week's highlight goes to Wiz Khalifa. See You Again appeared before on the chart but in a way higher position, but it's very simple to explain the sudden jump it had straight to the 3rd place. The song, which was produced by Charlie Puth, is part of the soundtrack of Furious 7 and it's basically an eulogy to Paul Walker, one of the main actors in the movie. It's kinda annoying to be honest, but after seeing the movie and listening to it in context you can't help but see how much emotional weight it has. With that being said, Wiz is completely useless on the song, adding barely nothing. It could just as easily be a Charlie Puth song and it would be just fine. The video shows both of the artists surrounded by Dodge cars (which must have paid for the video) along with some footage of the movie. You can watch it above.
