Billboard Fridays: T-Wayne - Nasty Freestyle

É raça, o Wiz Khalifa continua na liderança da semana mas o destaque da vez vai pro T-Wayne. Apesar de ter o mesmo nome eu não estou falando da dupla do T-Pain e Lil Wayne, mas sim de um rapper que aparentemente faz parte da Bricksquad. Eu digo aparentemente porque no video dele e no Twitter aparecem o logo e a sigla BSM (BrickSquad Monopoly), que é propriedade do Gucci Mane, e apesar de eu ouvir coisa pra cacete feita pelo Gucci e pela gravadora nunca vi esse T-Wayne em nada de ninguém de lá. Em compensação eu vi que ele já fez uns sons com o falecido The Jacka, rapper lendário de San Francisco, e parece que também já produziu um som em um dos primeiros projetos do Game (isso se for o mesmo T-Wayne né, como eu disse, é dificil encontrar rastros do cara). Enfim, se ele é tão desconhecido como veio aparecer aqui? Do mesmo jeito que uma raça mais nova conseguiu aparecer na Billboard (entre eles o Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd, Silento, entre vários outros): através do Vine. A batida foi produzida pelo 30 Roc e apesar de o som todo não ser ruim ele também não é nada demais. Sei lá, negócio é vocês verem o clipe acima (bem básico, basicamente com ele rimando na rua e uns efeitos malzinhos) e ver o que acham.

Wiz Khalifa is still on this week's lead but the week's highlight goes to T-Wayne. No, I'm not talking about the collabo between T-Pain and Lil Wayne but actually from a rapper that apparently is from Bricksquad. I'm talking apparently because even though you can see BSM on his video and Twitter (that stands for Bricksquad Monopoly), I never seen him on any of Gucci Mane's many mixtapes or of any Bricksquad associate (and I've heard a lot of those too). Looking him up I found that he did songs with deceased Bay Area legend The Jacka and produced some stuff for some early Game project, even though I can't even know if it is the same guy as this one. If it's so hard to fact-check him then how he got a top 10 rap song on Billboard? The same way many other rappers (such as Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd, Silento and others) got their hits nowadays: Vine. His song popped there and now it has many views. It was produced by 30 Roc and even though it ain't a bad song it ain't a great song either. I don't see it being as much different as most filler songs on most rap albuns, but I guess you should see it for yourself by clicking above.
