Billboard Fridays: Sage The Gemini - Red Nose

Entãao, Jay Z continua reinando na liderança da Billboard com Holy Grail depois de ter desbancado o Macklemore, e assim como na semana passada o destaque da semana é o Sage The Gemini, dessa vez com Red Nose. O produtor da Bay Area entrou praticamente ao mesmo tempo nas paradas com essa musica e Gas Pedal, que fazem parte do seu EP chamado também de Gas Pedal. O som é mais uma vez produzido pelo próprio Sage The Gemini e assim como o que eu falei na semana passada o som tem uma pegada bem hyphy, bem da Bay Area, bem club music, pra dançar. Apesar das suas letras não serem muito profundas o Sage tem uma levada legal e soa bem nas suas batidas. O clipe dessa musica no entanto é bem diferente do anterior. Esse é colorido, tem uma raça dançando, as vadias rebolando, bem o que se espera do video de uma musica assim. No geral eu preferi Gas Pedal que esse som, mas esse não é ruim também. So, Jay Z continues to reign strong on the top of the Billboard charts with Holy Grail after dethroning Macklemore and just like last week, this week's highlight is Sage The Gemini, only this time it's with Red Nose. Both this song and Gas Pedal entered the Billboard charts almost at the same time. The two songs are on his Gas Pedal EP and they were produced by Sage The Gemini himself. This song sounds really hyphy, a rap genre that's very popular on the Bay Area and is almost taylor made for clubs. So yeah, it's definitelly a rap song for girls to dance too, and as you would expect it isn't very lyrical. Sage compensates this with a very cool flow and he can do very well with the beat he did. The video is what you would expect given his background. It's a very colorful video with lots of people partying, girls twerking and other such fun things. Overall I prefered Gas Pedal but it ain't bad either. You can check the video and this week's top 25 above.
