Billboard Fridays: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Ray Dalton - Can't Hold Us

Parece que o Macklemore não sairá tão cedo do topo da parada de rap da Billboard. Ele segue em primeiro lugar com Thrift Shop e é também o destaque da semana depois da escalada que Can't Hold Us, a música que ele fez com o seu produtor Ryan Lewis, teve essa semana. Enfim, como quase tudo que o Macklemore faz, essa é uma música "consciente" e tal, ou seja, não vais ouvir ele falando sobre armas, drogas, violência, sexo ou coisas do gênero. Ainda assim, junto com Thrift Shop, é o mais próximo que temos de um "party record" no seu album The Heist. Não é a minha música preferida nas paradas de rap americano, mas é legalzinha, melhor que Thrift Shop ao menos. A música não tem vídeo ainda, mas para ouví-la é só clicar acima. Assim que tiver um video eu ponho ele aqui. Abaixo vocês podem conferir também o top 25 da semana.
Update: Saiu o video desse som do Macklemore e o cara me surpreendeu. O video é bem divertido, com o Macklemore e a sua legião numa missão pra levar uma bandeira (que é basicamente a americana com The Heist, o album do cara, em vez das estrelas) ao topo da Space Needle de Seattle. Enfim, pra ver qual é é só clicar acima.

It seems that Macklemore ain't going away from the charts anytime soon. He is still at the top of it with Thrift Shop and is also highlighted this week with Can't Hold Us, another song he did with his producer Ryan Lewis. Just like everything Macklemore writes, it's kind of a conscient rap record, so you won't be hearing about drugs, guns, sex, violence or anything like that on it. Still, this is the closest of a party record he has on his album The Heist (Thrift Shop can be considered too). It's not my favorite song on the charts, but it's kind of a nice song, better than Thrift Shop anyway. It ain't got a video yet but you can hear it by clicking above.
