Billboard Fridays: Ace Hood feat. Future & Rick Ross - Bugatti

Eu achei que talvez nessa semana o Drake conseguisse ultrapassar o Macklemore nas paradas de rap da Billboard, mas não, Macklemore e Ryan Lewis ainda reinam supremos no topo da parada de rap da Billboard. Apesar disso, o destaque da semana é um som muito mais interessante do Ace Hood. Engraçado que um dos meus ultimos posts foi justamente esse, e eu postei porque ele é foda mesmo. O Ace Hood pegou uma fórmula que anda funcionando muito bem ultimamente (uma batida pesada do Mike Will Made It e uma participação foda do Future) e usou isso como paisagem pras rimas dele. Como de praxe ele rima com aquela mesma flow meio faminta por mais que ele costuma rimar, mas que soa muito bem sobre uma das batidas mais pesadas que eu já vi o Mike Will Made It fazer. O Future como sempre não decepciona e o verso do Rick Ross não é nem de longe um dos melhores que ele já fez, mas combina legal com o clima do som. O clipe também é bem foda, meio inspirado no Miami Vice cheio de cenas de ações e coisas do gênero, pouco criativo mas mesmo assim dá pra se divertir vendo ele. I thought maybe this week Drake would be able to take the top spot from Macklemore but Mack and Ryan Lewis still reign supreme at the top of the Billboard Rap Charts. This week's highlight is a way greater song though. What's funny is that one of my last posts was this song's video, but it only helps to prove how good it is. Ace Hood got a formula that's been working really well for a lot of artists (a banger Mike Will Made It beat and a dope Future verse) and used it as a landscape for his rhymes. As usual, he rhymes with the same flow he is used to, a flow that seems really hungry, harsh and hard. The result is that it sounds cool as fuck over one of the hardest beats I've heard from Mike Will. Future does not disappoint as always and Rick Ross is far from his best in this verse, but it matches the mood of the song in a cool way too. The video is pretty dope too, a Miami Vice kind of thing, filled with action scenes and this kind of stuff. Not really original, but it's a fun watch anyway.
