Billboard Fridays: Tyga feat. Rick Ross - Dope

Mais uma semana de Billboard Fridays (dessa vez especialmente difícil de postar por causa do Wi-Fi de bosta do meu hotel de Londres) e o Macklemore e Ryan Lewis seguem na ponta das paradas com Thrift Shop. Apesar disso o destaque da semana é um som do Tyga que acabou de estrear na parada, super bem em 15 lugar. Essa musica inicialmente se chamava 187 mas daí o Tyga decidiu lançá-la como single do seu próximo album, o Hotel California, e mudou o nome pra Dope. A batida do som foi feita pelo Dnyc3 e contem um sample de Deep Cover do Dr. Dre e Snoop Dogg. Basicamente é estilo a de Rack City e outras que fizeram o rapper estourar no ano passado. Falar a real eu gostei bastante da batida, do verso do Ross, da flow do Tyga e inclusive do video em que o Tyga paga de gangsta e voces podem ver acima. Não é a melhor coisa que já surgiu no rap, mas ele definitivamente consegue entreter com uns sons assim. Abaixo vocês podem ver também o top 25 da semana;

Another Billboard Fridays week (a specially hard one because of the shitty wi-fi on my London hotel) and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are still in the first place with Thrift Shop. This week's highlight goes to Tyga though, with a song that entered this week the charts in a pretty nice 15th place. This song was first called 187, but then Tyga decided to turn it into the first single from his upcoming Hotel California album and changed it to Dope. This beat was done by Dnyc3 and it has a sample from Deep Cover by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Basically it's that same Rack City style of beat that made Tyga blow up last year. To be honest, I liked the beat, Ross' verse, Tyga's flow on the song and even the made-up gangsta Tyga plays on the video. It's not the best thing ever to come from rap, but it's definitelly entertaining and he doesn't seem to be trying to be much more than that, so that's cool.
