Billboard Fridays: Future - Wicked

Mais uma semana o Desiigner se mantém no primeiro lugar e o destaque dessa semana é o cara no qual o Desiigner se inspirou, o Future. Wicked é um som que o Future lançou na primeira mixtape que ele lançou em 2016, a Purple Reign. Com o tempo esse som, que foi produzido pelo Metro Boomin e pelo Southside, foi ganhando tração e virou um hit maior que os outros singles (com exceção de Low Life) do album propriamente dito dele, o EVOL. Dá pra entender porque, a batida de Wicked tem um ritmo bem foda, mais acelerado, que faz com que o próprio Future acelere as ritmas dele pra um ritmo frenético que soa bem pra cacete. É um som foda e esse video que ele lançou ficou mais massa ainda, quase me lembrando uma versão trap de On To The Next One, cheio de referências que são usadas em videos de rap sendo mostradas em um contexto artistico e bonito pra caramba. Another week goes by and Desiigner keeps the top spot of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs, but this week's highlight goes to the guy that inspired him the most, Future. Wicked is a song he released on his first mixtape of the year, Purple Reign, and with time it got more popular than most of the singles from his proper album, EVOL. This song was produced by Metro Boomin and Southside, Future's close associates, and the beat is a great part of the reason why this song is so dope. It's very uptempo and frantic, which makes Future rap faster and harder than ever, which is great to say the least. The video makes the whole thing even better, grabbing a lot of references that are common on rap videos and throwing them all on a very cool template, kinda like what Hov did on On To The Next One.
