Billboard Fridays: Wiz Khalifa feat. Travi$ Scott - Bake Sale

Finalmente o Drake e seu Hotline Bling foram destronados. O novo lider do top 25 de rap da Billboard são o G-Eazy e a Bebe Rexha com Me, Myself & I, e o destaque da semana também vai pra um som que já estreou no top 10 dessa semana. O som em questão é Bake Sale, som do Wiz Khalifa, que esteve na semana passada aqui no Brasil e que se meteu em uma treta com o Kanye West na semana passada, apesar deles já terem se resolvido. O som tem uma vibe que lembra bastante Antidote, do Travi$ Scott, então faz sentido ele ter convidado o Travi$ pra cantar o refrão desse som. Ele foi produzido por uma gangue de produtores foda, mais especificamente o TM88, Juicy J, Lex Luger, DJ Spinz e Crazy Mike, o que faz com que ela tenha uma batida de boa (apesar que eu esperaria mais dela pelos caras envolvidos). No geral é um som de boa, legalzinho, mas não tão impressionante quanto o pessoal que o fez faz parecer. Pra ouvir, clique acima.
Update: Saiu o vídeo de Bake Sale. Ele tem um visual psicodélico com referências a bolos e cupcakes e tal, até pelo título da música. Tem várias cores neons e uso de luz negra. Fora isso nada de muito especial, apesar de também não ser tão ruim. Clique acima pra ver.

Finally Drake got dethroned from the top of Billboard's Hot Rap Chart. G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha got his spot with Me, Myself & I, which you can find in the link above, but this week's highlight goes to Wiz Khalifa. Last week he was actually doing a show on my hometown and he was also having a beef with Kanye West (everything is cool with them now though). Bake Sale, which was produced by TM88, Juicy J, Lex Luger, DJ Spinz and Crazy Mike, is the first single from his next album called Khalifa. It actually sounds quite a bit like Travi$ Scott's Antidote, so it's only right that he called Travi$ for the hook. It's a pretty cool song but considering the amount of talent on the song I honestly expected more from it. You can still check it clicking above. This week's top 25 rap songs are also up there.
