Billboard Fridays: DeJ Loaf feat. Big Sean - Back Up

É galera, o Drake continua na liderança do Top 25 de rap da Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai pra uma música irada da Dej Loaf. Eu até já postei ela aqui mas é muito massa ver a Dej estourando nas paradas com esse som. Produzida pelo iRock, esse é um som que tem um bounce fudido que lembra um pouco o DJ Mustard mas a flow da Dej funciona de uma maneira completamente diferente nesse som, mas muito bom ainda assim. No refrão tem um sample de Back Up Off Me do DJ Clent que é um clássico de dance da cidade de Detroit. Pra complementar ele ainda chamou o Big Sean, que também é de Detroit, pra acrescentar um verso irado no som e pra terminar de representar a cidade ela gravou um clipe cheio de dançarinos na cidade dela. Drake is still on the top of Billboard's Hot Rap Chart but this week's highlight goes to a dope song by Dej Loaf. I posted this song on the blog a while ago but it's nice to see it blowing up on Billboard. The song was produced by iRock and it's a song with a great bounce, reminiscent of DJ Mustard's stuff. Still, Dej's flow is completely different from how most rappers rap over this kind of beats so the interaction is pretty dope. For the hook it samples a classic Detroit dance record called Back Up Off Me by DJ Clent. The song has a very dope feature by Big Sean, another Detroit rapper, and to complete the Detroit affair the video shows a lot of dancers all over the city. I found it all pretty dope and you can check it all above.
