Billboard Fridays: B.o.B feat. 2 Chainz - HeadBand

Mais uma vez na liderança dessa semana seguem o Macklemore e Ryan Lewis com Can't Hold Us. Apesar disso o destaque da semana vai pro B.o.B. Enfim, não preciso apresentá-lo, ele é aquele rapper de Atlanta que estourou com Nothin' On You e Airplanes lá em 2009. Na época das mixtapes dele ele fazia um som interessante, inspirado (inclusive no próprio nome) na obra do OutKast, no entanto quando ele assinou com a Grand Hustle e a Atlantic ele se vendeu completamente, começou a fazer musiquinhas pop com o Bruno Mars e a mina do Paramore e dali já era. Hoje em dia ele ainda faz isso mas tá tentando se redimir com o publico que curte rap, não pop. Pra isso ele decidiu surfar a ultima onda do rap e contratar o DJ Mustard, maestro do movimento ratchet da Bay Area, pra fazer esse single pra ele. Junto isso com uma aparição de um dos rappers mais onipresentes do momento e tá aí, tu tens um single. Nele as rimas do B.o.B são fraquissimas e parece que ele tá tentando imitar o Tyga desde a flow até o tema do que ele fala, e convenhamos, apesar de as vezes ser divertido, o Tyga não é exatamente o rapper mais interessante que há, uma imitação dele então é passavel. Nem o 2 Chainz salva esse som infelizmente, mas é a vida. O som não tem video ainda mas vocês podem ouvir o audio original clicando acima. Abaixo segue o top 25 da semana.
Update: Esse B.o.B é ridiculo mesmo... Saiu o video, e como era de se esperar de uma tentativa de stripclub anthem, ele tem várias minas, mas aew em vez de ele mostrar elas rebolando e mostrando a que vieram, como ele é o rapper que os papais gostam que seus filhos ouçam, obviamente ele mostrou só uns 2s disso no video todo. Enfim, não vale a pena clicar acima, mas se tax curioso tá ali.

Once again the lead goes to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with Can't Hold Us. This week's highlight goes to B.o.B though. I ain't gotta introduce him to you, he's the same rapper that blew up back in 2009 with pop-rap singles like Nothin' On You and Airplanes. Before he was signed, when he did some mixtapes, he was kinda interesting, taking many notes and styles from OutKast, taking influence even on his own name. After that though he was signed to Grand Hustle and Atlantic and from there it was all down. He completely sold out, started making songs with Bruno Mars and the Paramore lead singer and everyone of them was shittier than the other. Right now he is trying to redeem his image with his rap fanbase by catching the latest, hottest wave and trying to catapult himself back to relevance. To do that he contacted producer du jour DJ Mustard, the maestro from Bay Area's ratchet movement, along with the most omnipresent rapper right now, 2 Chainz. His rhymes are weak as fuck on this song and he seems to be trying to imitate Tyga on his every flow. I mean, Tyga is cool, but come on, he ain't the most interesting rapper around. A half assed imitation of him is just passable. Not even 2 Chainz seems inspired by his company, so don't expect him to save the song also.
