Billboard Thursdays: 50 Cent feat. Eminem & Adam Levine - My Life

E durante a semana o reinado do PSY no topo da parada da Billboard acabou, com o Flo Rida substituindo-o com a musica I Cry (que infelizmente nao dá pra dizer que é muito melhor que a do PSY). O destaque da semana no entanto vai para o 50 Cent com My Life. Ele está para lançar o seu próximo álbum  Street King Immortal, que deve ser lançado em fevereiro de 2013 e esse é o primeiro single do álbum a estourar. No som ele tem ainda a companhia do seu mentor Eminem (que ajuda a aumentar o hype pela musica) e a producao fica pro conta do Symbolic One. Infelizmente ela não aproveita muito do melhor que o 50 tem para oferecer e a partipacao do vocalista do Maroon 5 deixa bem explicito que ele está tentando alcancar uma audiencia mais pop com esse single. O clipe é bem genérico e parece com vários outros que o Eminem e o 50 já lancaram. Enfim, se tiver afim de ver é só clicar acima e abaixo segue o top 25 da parada de rap da Billboard da semana.

During this week PSY's reign on the top of the Billboard Rap Chart ended, with Flo Rida occupying his place at the first stop with the not quite better I Cry. This week's highlight though is 50 Cent's My Life. He is about to release a new album on February 2013 called Street King Immortal and this is the album's first single to blow up. In the song, Eminem, his mentor, also appears which always hypes the crowd up. The production was done by Symbolic One, but unfortunatelly it doesn't quite use 50's greatest features. The participation by Maroon 5's frontman shows really well that he is trying to reach to a more pop crowd than his usual fans with this one, and it doesn't cut it for me. The video is pretty bland too, seeming a lot like many other videos by 50 or Eminem. You can check the video and this week's top 25 above.
