Billboard Thursdays: Lil Wayne feat. Detail - No Worries

É, essa regra nova da Billboard de incluir streams em sites como o Spotify na contagem dos gêneros da Billboard, faz com que o PSY se mantenha em primeiro lugar na parada de rap da Billboard, mas ela tem repercussões positivas também. O ótimo good kid, m.A.A.d city do Kendrick Lamar está em segundo no geral, o que vem acompanhado de vários streams nesse tipo de site, o que por sua vez fez com que o Kendrick entrasse na lista da semana não só com Swimming Pools mas também com outras 4 musicas do álbum  e isso provavelmente continuará com álbuns que forem muito bem vendidos. No entanto, o destaque da semana vai pro Lil Wayne, com a musica que ele fez e foi produzida pelo Detail e apresenta a unica batida original da sua mixtape Dedication 4. A musica não tem vídeo ainda mas vocês podem ouvi-la acima. O Wayne não está no seu estado mais lirico nesse som, mas ela não é de todo ruim, pra falar a real ela é inclusive interessante, então clique acima pra ouvir e abaixo pra ver o top 25 da semana.

This new Billboard rule that states that streams on site like Spotify count so the single goes to the genre top singles is the reason why PSY still rules the top of the Hot Rap Charts until this day. This rule has got some cool repercusions though. Kendrick Lamar just released his great good kid, m.A.A.d city album, which debut in the second place overall on Billboard and had a lot of streams of it's songs, which made 5 songs from the album get charted among the top 25 rap singles, which is an overall win for the genre. Anyway, this week's highlight is a whole 'nother artist, which you may know as Lil Wayne. He did a song with Detail  that produced and sang the hook on it, which is the only original beat on his Dedication 4 mixtape. The song ain't got a video yet, but it's quite nice to hear it, so click above to do it and you might also check this week's top 25 rap chart above.
