Billboard Thursdays: Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard, Play Hard

Nessa semana o Ca$h Out foi desbancado pela galera da G.O.O.D., mais especificamente o Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T e o 2 Chainz. Nada mais digno, porque Mercy é um puta de um som. Apesar disso, ela já foi destaque outra semana, e o destaque dessa será Work Hard, Play Hard, do Wiz Khalifa. O som tem uma pegada mais de "night" que alguns outros sons do Wiz, mas é interessante ver alguém fazendo um som que não é só "fuck bitches, get money", glorificando também o trabalho duro pelo qual todo mundo que não é rapper tem que passar. This week Ca$h Out left the throne of the Billboard Rap Charts so that 1/2 of the Throne and some of his crew can occupy it. More specifically I'm talking about Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz with their great single, Mercy. I already talked about it though, so this week's highlight will actually go to Wiz Khalifa's Work Hard, Play Hard. It's more of a club song than some of the songs Wiz was releasing earlier, but it's kinda cool to see this kind of music done in a way that's not just "fuck bitches, get money", in a way that glorifies all the hard work that most people who ain't rappers gotta go through. The song was produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate and you can check the video (that even has a Juicy J cameo) and this week's Billboard Rap 25 above.
