Lupe Fiasco - Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free)
Clique acima pra ver o video.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For real, Lupe's got some strange videos, but this one is the undisputed winner. I don't know, maybe it's me, but I didn't understand the connection between the cartoon gang, the rented Lamborghini Aventador and Lupe's glowing eyes. Well, even though the video is weird and the song generated a controversy with Pete Rock (the producer of T.R.O.Y., the song in which this one was based), Lupe is still a great writer and rapper, and it's good to see he is getting back to his origins after the fiasco (no pun intended) of his last album. Oldies: UGK feat. OutKast - International Players Anthem (I Choose You)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the best southern rap songs I've ever heard (scrap that, actually, one of the best songs I've ever heard, period) is International Players Anthem. On the song, the 3 biggest and more influent rap groups from the south (Bun B & Pimp C's UGK; Andre 3000 & Big Boi's OutKast; Juicy J & DJ Paul's Three Six Mafia) get together. This legends from Houston, Atlanta and Memphis show how their sound is still relevant and could work really well together with the song. It was released only a bit before Pimp C died, so it's a great way to remind this great rapper/producer. The video ain't behind the song though. It shows Andre 3000's wedding, with T-Pain as the reverend, and cameos by a lot of rappers (such as Bishop Don Juan, Chamillionaire, David Banner, Fonzworth Bentley, Katt Williams, Big Gipp and others). Well, enough said, you might click above to check it.
Rick Ross, Gunplay, Stalley, Wale & Meek Mill feat. Kendrick Lamar - Power Circle
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This new MMG video is more like a short film made from the best moments of MaybachTV. It's cool if you wanna check what's like to be in the shoes of some rappers with the prestige and success this guys have. As you would expect from a video like this, you'll se a ton of celebs (
Diddy, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Drake, Shaheem Reid, LeBron James, Sway, Dr. Dre, Usher, Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Lyor Cohen and Omarion that I counted the first time I saw it), jewels, money, expensive bottles and enough whips to fill a car lot (
Dodge Challenger, Mercedes-Benz S550, Lamborghini Murcielago, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Ferrari 458 Italia and a
Ferrari California that I counted the first time I saw too). For those who dig this kinda stuff, it's pretty dope. This song will be on Self Made Vol. 2, you can check the video above and more info about the song here.
Billboard Thursdays: Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard, Play Hard

This week Ca$h Out left the throne of the Billboard Rap Charts so that 1/2 of the Throne and some of his crew can occupy it. More specifically I'm talking about Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz with their great single, Mercy. I already talked about it though, so this week's highlight will actually go to Wiz Khalifa's Work Hard, Play Hard. It's more of a club song than some of the songs Wiz was releasing earlier, but it's kinda cool to see this kind of music done in a way that's not just "fuck bitches, get money", in a way that glorifies all the hard work that most people who ain't rappers gotta go through. The song was produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate and you can check the video (that even has a Juicy J cameo) and this week's Billboard Rap 25 above.

Katie Got Bandz, Sasha Gohard & Chella H - I'm Hotta
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This 3 chicks from Chicago are associates of Chief Keef and started doing their post-Lex Luger trap music around the same time as Keef. They don't usually make songs together (even though it's the first time I heard of this Chella H chick), but this song with the three hittas ended up being dope as fuck, and as good as the sound of Keef, Lil Durk, Lil Reese or any of the other youngins from Chicago. Click below to hear this dope, heavy song produced by JHill.

Oldies: Jay-Z - Blue Magic
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a rumour back in the day that The Neptunes wanted to produce an album for Jay-Z. This album woudl feature productions only by the duo and it was supposed to be Kingdom Come. They even had some of the beats for it, but it ended up not being aproved. Some say this album originated Hell Hath No Fury, by the Clipse, which, in my opinion, is one of the dopest rap albuns ever done. This song makes me think how dope would've been a Clipse feature on this song, since it's on a Neptunes beat and the subject is the one the Clipse's is used to. Well, the video is dope anyway and you should expect Jay-Z showing off his money in the way only he does: with Goyard cased filled with euros, millionaire art works by Damien Hirst and Takashi Murakami and with he and Pharrell rolling in two vintage Rolls-Royces (a Silver Cloud and a Corniche to be specific). Nas feat. Rick Ross - Accident Murderers
O album se chamará Life Is Good e é produzido principalmente pelo No I.D. e Salaam Remi.

Another one that's about to release a new album is Nas. The album will be called Life Is Good and was mostly produced by No I.D. and Salaam Remi. This one specifically was done by No I.D. and Nasir called Rozay to do a verse on it too. Rozay didn't waste the opportunity and used all his lyrical potential on the song, that shaped up to be a great one. Click below to check it.

Rick Ross feat. Meek Mill - So Sophisticated

The video's got usual Ross stuff: you'll see some of his homes (Meek, Wale and Gunplay), some exotic cars (a Fisker Karma and a Ferrari California), lots of great looking women, some street stuff and some sophisticated stuff. It was generally well taped, so click above to check it.

Haleek Maul - Fraulein
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haleek Maul is a rapper from Barbados, which is on the Caribbean Coast, but don't expect some sunny weather music or some strong caribbean accent. His sound is kinda the opposite of that. Like many new young rappers nowadays, his songs are kinda atmospheric, and you can hear some rage in his voice, but it's a very controlled one, only slightly passing to our ears. His flow and lyrics, beside complementing King Britt's great beat really well, shows something I like a lot when I notice in music: honesty. You can see that when he talks about his family and the kind of things that makes most 17 years old kids mad, but in a way that most 17 years old kids can't put in the form of music. Well, his songs are nice, and if you wanna check him, click below.

Oddisee - Ready To Rock
People Hear What They See, clique abaixo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oddisee is the kind of artists that evoques a comparison to Kanye West. Not that he sounds just like Kanye, and not only because of the fact that he is great both as a rapper and as a producer, but his will to make something original and his, and his hability to do so combining some really unique and different sounds, well, that's what brings this comparison to mind. As you must have guessed, he's a really interesting artists, so if you wanna check the great song that opens his even greater People Hear What They See, click below.

Bangladesh feat. Pusha T & Jadakiss - 100
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, it ain't new that Bangladesh knows how to produce some bangers. Before Lex Luger's template dominated the scene, Bangladesh already did a lot of success doin't some heavy shit for big artists. Nothing like getting two of the best street rappers out there to try to boost your first solo effort. Pusha and Jada do their thing, as always, but what kills the song is seeing Bangladesh trying to impersonate the male version of Nicki Minaj. Simply ridiculous and the song would be even bigger without it, but click above to check the song and video anyway cause the rest of it is dope.
Chief Keef - Monster
Esse é o som que abre a ótima mixtape Back From The Dead dele, e pra ver o video é só clicar acima.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chief Keef got so much heat after Kanye did the remix from his I Don't Like that lots of labels entered a bidding war for the kid. Among them were Birdman's Cash Money, Young Jeezy's CTE and Diddy's Bad Boy, but who ended up winning him was Dr. Dre. He's not just buzz though, the kid got lot's of talent too. If you wanna check the song that opens the great Back From The Dead mixtape from the Interscope signee, click above.
Trouble feat. Gucci Mane, Travis Porter & Rocko - U Don't Deserve Dat

Trouble is a rapper from Alley Boy's label, Duct Tape Entertainment, from Atlanta. He called a lineup of some of the cities' best rappers to do a tipical Atlanta banger, and the shit got dope as fuck. The highlight goes to Gucci Mane's verse, which finds him in his top form. Billboard Thursdays: DJ Khaled - Take It To The Head
Top 25
1- Ca$h Out - Cashin' Out
2- Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy
3- Kirko Bangz - Drank In My Cup

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another week and another Billboard Chart. Ca$h Out keeps himself in the lead with the homonimous Cashin' Out, but this week's highlight go to DJ Khaled's Take It To The Head. It's kinda ridiculous that Billboard credits only Khaled in it's rap charts when all he got on the song is like one frase or something. Well, but no DJ is better to picking up hot rappers to do songs together, so no blame on Khaled. I just think that with all these talented guys something better could've come up. The video's got cameos by Drake, Birdman, Mack Maine and Busta Rhymes, and to check the video that look's just like a Tekken 6 stage, and the song produced by The Runners and The Monarch, click above. This week's top 25 is there too xD
Rick Ross, Gunplay, Wale, Stalley & Meek Mill feat. Kendrick Lamar - Power Circle
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rick Ross and his label (Maybach Music) is about to release their second compilation album with all the label's artists. It will be called Self Made Vol. 2 and this is the song that opens the album. For it, Rick Ross enlisted some of the label's best rappers and a great rapper outside of it, Kendrick Lamar. Rick Ross was making a lot of hits with his post-BMF sound, a sound that's pretty heavy, and most of his label followed him. This song is kinda different though, and it sounds mostly as the stuff he did on his great third album, Deeper Than Rap. Both of Ross' sides please me, but it's great to hear him and a bunch of nice rappers on that kind of sound. Click below to hear it.

Kitty Pryde & Riff Raff - Orion's Belt
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few days ago I talked about Kitty Pryde and a song from her latest mixtape. This song just earned a video, which is kinda bizarre like anything that comes from Riff Raff, but it's fun nevertheless, Click above to check it.
Paypa feat. French Montana - Time Zone
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The name of the guy is Paypa and he is a new artist from Chicago. Even though they are from the same city, he don't sound neither like Kanye and Chi's most famous rappers or like Chief Keef and the Chi's new school of rappers. Actually he sounds like a mix of Meek Mill and a good-rapping Red Cafe xD. Well, he got this beat by Cardiak and a great feature by French Montana and the song ended up being dope as fuck. Click below to hear it.
50 Cent feat. Hayes - Double Up
Nowadays he is not that well seen, but when I started listening to rap, 50 Cent was the man, one of the hottest and dopest rappers out there. He ain't got the same buzz he had at that time and I stopped listening to him after some time, but nowadays, after having listened to a lot of different things, I realise 50 Cent definitelly got his place on the rap game and, strictly for the music, is really worth listening. This song kinda reminds me of Get Rich or Die Tryin, but it's from his latest mixtape, The Lost Tape. You can click above to check the song produced by Tone Mason and 50 rolling with some Ferraris 599 GTB Fiorano.
The Complex Guide To Pick Your New Favorite White Rapper

Complex Magazine is an american lifestyle magazine, kinda like VIP or Alfa here in Brazil, but it has a much more intimate relationship with rap music. They have some of the best rap writers and interviewers and, among their notable moments are the 2006 intervie in which Lil Wayne proclamed to be the "Best Rapper Alive" for the first time and the only cover of the sessions that leaded to the recording of Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Today they did this funny infographic to help you find out your favorite new whitwee rapper. Mine ended up being Kreayshawn, which definitelly isn't, but if you wanna check out yours, click below.

2 Chainz feat. Drake - No Lie
Based On a T.R.U. Story, e ele chamou a participação do parceiro de turnê dele pra fazer o som. A batida é do Mike Will e pra ver o video é só clicar acima.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the real though, the first time I heard this song I wasn't feeling it too much, but it ended up growing on me. This song will be the first single for 2 Chainz solo album, Based On a T.R.U. Story, and he called a feature from his tourmate for the song. The beat was done by Mike Will and if you wanna check the video, click above.

Azealia Banks - Liquorice
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another great and young rapper from NY (but from the Harlem, not Flatbush), which the latest album also got an year's name (the great 1991 EP) is Azealia Banks. Her sound is a lot more modern than the one I was talking about below, but it's not bad because of that. This, actually, is my favorite song by Azealia, having a great beat that compliments her flow really well. If you wanna check the strange video of this great song produced by Basto, click above.
Joey Bada$$ feat. Capital Steez - Survival Tactics
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Joey Bada$$ is a young rapper from Flatbush, a neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. He is 17 and seems to be very influenced by the great rappers that came from BK. For everybody that says that this new generation ain't doing "real hip-hop", and other annoying and ridicule blaming, well, Joey should be a great answer for all of them. But for those who know that hip-hop evolves and mutates with the times, they should also find Joey really interesting, cause even though his old-school flow and lyrics lost some of it's heat, it never goes out of fashion and can always be done in a fresher way. This song was produced by Vin Skully of Fort Minor. Click below to hear this song from the 1999 mixtape.

Billboard Thursdays: Nicki Minaj feat. 2 Chainz - Beez In The Trap
E nessa semana o Kirko Bangz foi desbancado do primeiro lugar pelo Ca$h Out, com os seu single, Cashin' Out xD. O destaque da semana, no entanto, vai pra Nicki Minaj com Beez In The Trap.
Top 25:
1- Ca$h Out - Cashin' Out
2- Kirko Bangz - Drank In My Cup
3- Young Jeezy feat. Ne-Yo - Leave You Alone
4- Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy
5- Drake feat. Rihanna - Take Care
6- J. Cole feat. Missy Elliott - Nobody's Perfect
7- Drake feat. Lil Wayne - The Motto
8- LoveRance feat. IamSu & Skipper or 50 Cent - UP!
9- Tyga feat. Lil Wayne - Faded
10- Nicki Minaj feat. 2 Chainz - Beez In The Trap
11- Flo Rida feat. Sia - Wild Ones
12- DJ Khaled - Take It To The Head
13- Nicki Minaj - Starships
14- Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard, Play Hard
15- Drake feat. The Weeknd - Crew Love
16- Fat Joe feat. Chris Brown - Another Round
17- Future - Same Damn Time
18- Drake feat. Lil Wayne - HYFR (Hell Yeah F*****g Right)
19- Travis Porter feat. Tyga - Ayy Ladies
20- 2 Chainz feat. Drake - No Lie
21- Wale feat. Rick Ross, Meek Mill & T-Pain - Bag Of Money
22- Waka Flocka Flame feat. Trey Songz - I Dont Really Care
23- Pitbull - Back In Time
24- Rick Ross feat. Usher - Touch'N You
25- Chris Brown feat. Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa - Till I Die
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week Kirko Bangz was took out of his throne in the first place by Ca$h Out, with his homonimous Cashin' Out. This week's highlight is Nicki Minaj's Beez In The Trap though. This, in my humble opinion, is one of the best songs on the chart right now. It appeared on her latest album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. and it was produced by Kenoe. The beat is very minimal and Nicki's verses and flow go really well with it. The cherry on the cake though is the hilarious and great 2 Chainz verse by the middle of the song. More funny than that is only the dance he tries at the end of the video. Well, you might check the video and this week's top 25 above.

A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown "Back and Forth" Interview for Noisey

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For real, the title of this song would be reason enough for me to post this song xD Azealia Banks is a rapper from Harlem, New York, and she is one of the best rappers we got out there nowadays. Even thoguh she doesn't admit it, you can see a lot of influence of Nicki Minaj's less pop side on her sound. With that being said, she pushes the barreers Nicki broke even further and when she releases something new, it's usually worth a listen. This ain't no different. This song was produced by Machinedrum and you can check it below. Oh, and Azealia, if you really wanna become an Aquababe, holla at me xD.

Action Bronson & Party Supplies - Steve Wynn

By the middle of the first semester, Action Bronson, one of the best rappers from the new school, did a project with producer Party Supplies. The result is the great Blue Chips mixtape, and the song from this video is one of the highlights of the tape. The video, as usual with Bronson, is very very funny, but both the production and the rhymes don't get overshined by it. Click above to check it.
Kitty Pryde feat. Riff Raff - Orion's Belt
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the success of Odd Future, A$AP Rocky, Kreayshawn and other new acts, you see each time more rappers from the tumblr generation trying their time on rap. Since they're influenced by the most random acts out there, their songs very often sound interesting to me. One of the latest to blow up is Kitty Pryde, from Daytona Beach, FL. She did this song with Riff Raff, it was produced by Beautiful Lou and it's a nice little song from the haha I'm sorry mixtape she just released. If you wanna check it, click below

Meek Mill feat. Fabolous - Racked Up Shawty
Enfim, o som é foda, clique acima pra ouví-lo.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dreamchasers 2 is a great fucking tape, as I've said earlier, and Meek Mill decided to release a video for one of the songs I liked the most on the mixtape. The video is basically a video collage of Meek Mill shows and sometimes when he went to strip clubs to show off his racks. Fabolous also appear on a show, but French Montana's verse appear only by the end while the commercials are passing. The song is dope, so click above to check it.
Curren$y - Off Dat

Man, fuck it... I didn't even got the time to listen to Spitta's new album and there's already like 4 songs in it that I can't stop listening to... The song below is one of them and it's one of The Stoned Immaculate bonus tracks for Spotify. It was produced by Rashad and it's exactly what you expect from a Spitta song, and it's great exactly because of that. Click below to hear it.

The-Dream feat. Pusha T - Dope Bitch
O som aparecerá no próximo album do Dream, o Love IV. Pra ouvir o som é só clicar abaixo então.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Like in Exodus 23;1, The-Dream and Pusha T get together again, this time on The-Dream's song. This, in my opinion, is superior to the first. The beat, Pusha's lyrics and the way The-Dream sings are all more elaborate than the GOOD Friday song. This will be on The-Dream's next album, Love IV. If you wanna check the song, click below.

Hit-Boy - Jay-Z Interview
My God, Niggas In Paris, Goldie, Come On A Cone e vários outros sons me fazem pensar isso, mas quem diria que ele é tão bom como rapper?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I never had doubts that Hit-Boy is a great producer. My God, Niggas In Paris, Goldie, Come On A Cone and many other songs are proof of that, but who would think he's also a pretty decent rapper? In this song (that was produced by Bink! not Hit-Boy) he spits some of his rhymes, and the young Kanye comparison is inevitable. If you wanna check the song and the video, click above.

Oldies: Kanye West - Through The Wire

Oldies: Lil Phat - Act Like That
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's common place to say that, while many rappers brag about what they do and did in the streets, what they are actually talking about is drug traffic and everyday lots of people die because of it. Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC died because of this decades ago, Tupac Shakur, even though not many people know about this, died because of it a long time ago, and more recently, even though they aren't as famous as the ones I talked about above, many other rappers died latelly because of it. I could give you many examples, like Dolla or Slim Dunkin', but I think it would be more adequate right now to talk about Lil Phat, a rapper affiliated to Trill Entertainment, which is a traditional rap label from many Louisiana rappers like Lil Boosie, Webbie, Mouse and others. The news came out today that he was murdered in Atlanta, and the homicide was drug related. When he was 15 he was one of the rappers to appear on Independent, a single by Webbie that achieved some considerable airplay back in 2007 in the US. There you could already see he had some talent, but, like most southern rappers, he recurred to the drug market to get his hustle on. Even though it's something I like to hear on rap music and the fact it gave an opportunity for some of the best rappers ever to publish they work and reach a bigger audience, moments like these make me wonder what a vicious cicle it is and if there isn't another way around for rappers and other ambitious young men on the same place Lil Phat was to get by. It has changed a lot in rap, but we still hear about the death of this young, promissing rappers every other days, and it's nothing but a big shame. To be honest, I didn't knew Lil Phat's work very well, but hearing his Death Before Dishonor mixtape and some others songs he put out, you could see that he might have what it takes to make some great music in this rap game. Well, rest in peace and let's also pray that this type of thing don't continue to go on.

Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz - Mercy

Now this is an easy post. They released yesterday the video for Mercy, the first single from the GOOD Music compilation album. Click above to check it and here to get some info on the song.

A$AP Rocky feat. Schoolboy Q - Brand New Guy
Clique acima pra ver o video.

Curren$y feat. Wiz Khalifa - No Squares
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most people that knows Wiz Khalifa nowadays don't know that much of his success is because of his relationship with Curren$y. Since Wiz signed to Atlantic they didn't record much together, because of label politics. This song they were able to do for Curren$y's next album, The Stoned Immaculate. It was produced by The Futuristiks and you can hear it below.

Nacho Picasso & Blue Sky Black Death - Bloody Murder

Nacho Picasso is from Seattle, which is not well known for it's rap history as far as I know, but is for being the place of birth of grunge. You can hear some influence of the genre on Nacho, but his sound goes beyond it. He just released his mixtape Exalted with producer Blue Sky Black Death, and this is one of the songs from the tape. To hear the unique sound BSBD is bringing to the game with their production and Nacho with his rhymes, click below.
