Nas - A Queens Story

É, o tão esperado album do Nas foi lançado a algumas semanas atrás e se chama Life Is Good. Ele tem várias musicas boas, mas essa me chamou a atenção. Enfim, na teoria é fácil, uma batida foda com um MC que sabe rimar e tem entrosamento com o produtor geralmente gera uma musica boa. Apesar disso, diversos rappers não prestam muita atenção a isso atualmente, mas a musica desse post é exatamente isso. O produtor, nesse caso, é o Salaam Remi, e a batida é bem novaiorquina, lembrando inclusive os musicais da Broadway, e combina muito bem com o estilo do Nas, que não perde a oportunidade de rimar alguns dos versos mais vividos dele. The very anticipated new Nas album was finally released a few weeks ago and it's called Life Is Good. It has many great songs, but this one was the one that grabbed my attention the most. In theory, it should be easy. get a dope beat from a good producer, a MC that can rhyme his ass off and the results of it should be good. In real life, it's a bit more complicated and many rappers ain't doing it like that, but the song below is the classic example of what I just said. The producer is Salaam Remi, and the beat sounds real new yorker, reminding me of a Broadway act and stuff like that. Nas doesn't waste his chance and rhymes some of his most vivid verses, and the results are pretty nice. Click below to hear it.
