Billboard Fridays: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Mary Lambert - Same Love

Macklemore e Ryan Lewis no primeiro lugar, no segundo lugar e dessa vez também no destaque da semana.  Same Love é mais um dos singles do album The Heist que o Macklemore fez e foi todo produzido pelo Ryan Lewis. Os dois singles mais bem sucedidos desse album são bem animadinhos, essa já é muito mais calma e como diz o título fala de amor. No entanto ele não está falando de qualquer amor, mas sim de um bem específico, o homossexual. Basicamente, assim como todas as musicas do Macklemore, ela tem uma mensagenzinha boa para o mundo e a dessa música é a que devemos parar de discriminar os homossexuais e tratá-los como se eles não fossem como qualquer outra pessoa. O objetivo é louvável, mas eu particularmente acho essa musica beeem chatinha. Felizmente o video (como nas outras musicas da dupla) é muito melhor, mostrando a vida inteira de um menino que acabou se apaixonando por alguém do mesmo sexo. Ele é super bem filmado e basicamente, assim como a musica, tenta humanizar o pessoal que é discriminado pela sua opção sexual. No video o rapper aparece só durante a festa de casamento do casal bem brevemente, atuando só como trilha sonora no resto. Pra quem tiver afim de ver é só clicar acima e abaixo segue o top 25 da semana.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are ocuppying the first and the second place, and this week they also got the highlight. Same Love is another single from The Heist, the album Macklemore did and that was fully produced by Ryan Lewis. Both of the most successful singles from this album are pretty animated but this song is way calmer than the other two. Like the title of the song says, he is basically talking about love on this song, but not any love, more specifically homossexual love. Like all Macklemore songs it tries to pass a nice message for the world but it ends up being a bit corny and I really don't dig the song. The video is way better though and it's probably worth your while. The video shows a little boy that grows up and ends up loving somebody from the same sex as him. The video was very well done and Macklemore almost don't appear in it, except for a little cameo during the couple's wedding.
