Billboard Fridays: Young Thug - Best Friend

O Drake continua na liderança na Billboard mas o destaque da semana vai pro Young Thug. Esse foi um ano em que vários rappers lançaram grandes projetos e tiveram um sucesso comercial e crítico bem grande. Ainda assim a qualidade de música boa que o Young Thug lançou esse ano só é equiparável ao ano do Drake ou do Future. Nada mais justo então que ele tivesse mais um hit no final desse ano com Best Friend. Esse é um som que tem um conceito bem estranho (como tudo do Young Thug) no qual o Young Thug fala como ele é o próprio melhor amigo dele mesmo. Pode parecer estranho o que fica ainda mais evidenciado no clipe, no qual tu vê várias versões do Young Thug interagindo com ele próprio mas o que importa é que, tanto em video quanto na música, o resultado ficou foda pra cacete. Drake is still at the top of Billboard's Hot Rap Chart but this week's highlight goes to Young Thug. This is an year in which a lot of rappers released great albuns and songs but you'd be hard pressed to find someone with a better year than Young Thug had (probably only Drake, Future or Kendrick Lamar). It's fair than that he closed the album with another hit single. Best Friend has a very strange concept of Young Thug being his own best friend, which you can see all over the video, with Thugga interecting with clones of himself on all sorts of situations. It's kinda bizarre, like most of Thugga's releases, but it's dope as fuck. The song was produced by Ricky Racks and Young Shad and this song appeared on his Slime Season mixtape.
