Todo ano acontecem os Grammys, premio que a Academia de Artes americana dá aos destaques da música no ano anterior. Como é de se esperar, o rap tem um local reservado nesse tipo de cerimonia também, obviamente. Apesar disso o lugar dele nesse ano foi bem diminuto, sendo que os unicos rappers que se apresentaram durante a cerimonia foram o Jay-Z (durante o show do Justin Timberlake), o Wiz Khalifa (durante o show do Miguel) e o LL Cool J junto com o Chuck D do Public Enemy em um tributo ao falecido Adam Yauch dos Beastie Boys. Quanto aos premios de rap, Jay-Z & Kanye West ganharam todos relacionados a musicas com Niggas In Paris e No Church In The Wild enquanto o album do ano foi pra Take Care, do Drake, o que pra falar a real eu nao achei nada injusto. Acima voces podem ver a apresentacao que o Jay-Z e o Justin fizeram juntos, cantando o single que eles lancaram juntos esse ano e está estourando, Suit & Tie, junto com uma musica inedita do próximo projeto do Justin.
